The event will be held in the Aula Magna „Mihai Eminescu”, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi

While entering "Sala pasilor pierduti", turn left. You will find us at the end of the corridor.

Poster printing

We advise printing the posters in advance. However, we can reccomend two printing shops, one close to the stundent dorms and another close to the hotels.

Printhaus is close to the student dorms and is located close to the Copou campus.

PIM Gallery is close to the hotels located in "Piata Unirii"

Both are about the same distance from the venue, but in different directions.

Accomodation

The closest hotels are Unirea, Traian and Astoria, all at around 20 min relaxed walking distance.

For students, the "Gaudeamus" student dormitory is at about 10 min relaxed walking distance.

Getting around Iasi

Traveling via ride sharing: The most used apps are Bolt and Uber.

Traveling via public transport: Public transport (bus / tram) ticket costs 4 RON. It can be bought using the app 24 pay, or by card, once you get on board. You can see the schedule near each station or using the Tranzy app.

Travel arrangements

Iasi has an international airport with direct connections to Central Europe and the UK.

In order to get from the airport to the city center you can get a Bolt / Uber or a taxi - approximate cost: 35-40 RON (~7-8 EUR). You can also use public transport, Bus 50, which runs every 30 minutes (schedule here) and costs 4 RON using the 24 pay app. For the city center, get off at the "Piata Unirii" station.

From Bucharest (and many other cities in Romania), you can take the train to Iasi (check options here). Get off at "Gara Iasi Nord", the main train station. It is close to the city center (about 15 min walking distance).
